Commission Process & Terms

Commissioning a custom piece is a collaborative and personal process. Below is a clear step-by-step overview of how we’ll work together to bring your idea to life.

Step 1 – Initial Enquiry & Concept Fee

Submit your commission enquiry via the Commission Page. Please include details such as:

  • The type of piece (ring, earrings, necklace, etc.)

  • Preferred materials (metals, stones)

  • Size (if applicable)

  • Timeline or important dates (e.g. for gifting or weddings)

To begin the design process, a $100 concept fee is required. This covers design time, communication, and any initial research or sourcing. This fee is non-refundable, but will be credited towards your final order if you proceed.

Step 2 – Design Proposal & Quote

Once the concept fee is received, you’ll receive:

  • A refined design concept based on your request

  • Stone or material suggestions (if applicable)

  • A quote for the final piece, including estimated production time and postage

  • You’ll have an opportunity to provide feedback or request one round of revisions before confirming the design.

Step 3 – Deposit & Production

When you're happy to proceed, a 50% deposit is required to secure your commission and begin production. The remaining balance is due upon completion.

Please note:

  • Deposits are non-refundable, as materials and studio time are allocated upon confirmation.

  • Ensure all details (including ring size and materials) are correct before payment. Custom pieces cannot be resized or exchanged.

Step 4 – Making Your Piece

Production generally takes 3–4 weeks, depending on complexity and material availability. During this time, you’ll receive:

  • Occasional progress updates

  • A final photo of your piece once complete

If you have a specific deadline, please mention this early and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Step 5 – Final Payment & Delivery

Once your piece is ready, you’ll receive an invoice for the remaining balance. Upon receipt of full payment:

  • Your piece will be carefully packaged and shipped with tracking via Australia Post

  • A confirmation email and tracking number will be sent to you

Shipping is available within Australia and internationally to select countries.

Notes on Custom Work

  • All custom pieces are made with care using hand-selected materials. Natural variations in texture or colour are part of their uniqueness.

  • Due to their bespoke nature, custom orders are not eligible for return, exchange, or resizing.
